Van Leeuwen: Ice Cream on Demand
Project Brief: Utilize inspiration from a driverless future to combine a business and autonomous vehicles to enhance their current consumer experience.
For this project, I married Van Leeuwen to driverless delivery trucks in order to create a fun, nostalgic, engaging experience for users slightly outside of cities. Van Leeuwen shops are typically located in dense cities like New York or L.A., but people or foodies in nearby suburban areas may also want fresh Van Leeuwen ice cream. By using autonomous ice cream trucks, Van Leeuwen can deliver same day, freshly scooped ice cream to people further away while maintaining the nostalgic joy people get from seeing and hearing ice cream trucks.
